Northgate suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the McIntosh Chiefs. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-15.

Hannah Genet paced Northgate's offense, picking up ten kills. Genet got some help from Maddy Schmidt and her 18 assists. Genet was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Northgate's loss dropped their record down to 20-22. As for McIntosh, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-9 record this season.

Northgate and McIntosh are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Vikings will take on Villa Rica on Wednesday. As for McIntosh, they will host Alexander at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
