Johna Abramowicz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her seven plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
