Last Thursday, Antioch Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid  win over Mullins Marion Christian, taking the game  3-1. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Antioch Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-15,  25-16.
If Columbus Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cornerstone Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing  Ashlynn Lanning. The Cougars came out on top against the Pacers by a score of  3-1  on Tuesday with plenty of help from  Lanning, who  had 14  kills and ten  aces. She has been hot, having  posted two or more  aces the last five times she's  played.
 The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 16-25,  25-12.
Cornerstone Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore  Lanning, who  had 14  kills and ten  aces.
 Cornerstone Christian Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September.
 Cornerstone Christian Academy's record now sits at 5-8. As for Antioch Christian Academy,  the  win  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Antioch Christian Academy came up short against Cornerstone Christian Academy in their previous matchup  back in September, falling  3-1. Can the Gators avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
