The Oak Mountain Eagles will be playing at home against the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Hewitt-Trussville will be up against a hot Oak Mountain team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Oak Mountain's pitchers stepped up to hand Homewood a 7-0 shutout on Friday.

Brooke Monosky was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sheridan Andrews, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.
Oak Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Hewitt-Trussville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pell City on Friday. Hewitt-Trussville blew past Pell City 10-0. The game marked the Huskies' most dominant victory of the season so far.
The team relied heavily on Corey Goguts, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Presley Hull was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Hewitt-Trussville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Oak Mountain's win bumped their record up to 11-6.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Oak Mountain hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .343. However, it's not like Hewitt-Trussville struggles in that department as they've averaged .369. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
