Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tomahawk). They put the hurt on the Montello Hilltoppers with a sharp 59-39 win on Saturday. The Hatchets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

With the victory, Tomahawk broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Montello, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tomahawk will face off against Merrill at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Montello, they are taking a road trip to challenge Necedah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
