The Browne Bruins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Camelback, falling 70-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Browne has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Browne still got an impressive performance from Desmyn Beavers-smith, who scored 11 points along with three steals and two blocks. Beavers-smith has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.
Browne struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They are 1-2 when they can't control their own glass like that.
Jaylin Ideran continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Camelback, scoring 19 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ideran has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kofi Idris, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Browne has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Camelback, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
Browne will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Alhambra is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Camelback, they will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
