Tyler Thompson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in June of 2024 on Saturday. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Thompson's effort led St. Francis over Big Rapids and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
