Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Evergreen Park over Shepard in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Evergreen Park was the clear victor by a 69-48 margin over Shepard. Given Evergreen Park's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Shepard is ranked 579th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Providence Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season. As for Evergreen Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-9.
