The Eaton Reds can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 73-24 victory over Weld Central at home. The victory was nothing new for Eaton as they're now sitting on five straight.
Eaton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tayla Wiedeman, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Wiedeman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Delaney Reuter was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Eaton pushed their record up to 8-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Weld Central, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Coincidentally, Eaton and Weld Central will both be playing University the next time they take the court. Eaton will head out to face University at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Weld Central will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
