Pittsfield waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Minuteman Regional Minuteman a 9-0 shutout. Considering the Generals have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Pittsfield's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Minuteman Regional, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-8 record.

Coming up, Pittsfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Frontier Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Minuteman Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
