The North Florida Christian Eagles lost against the Maclay Marauders last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. North Florida Christian fell to Maclay 42-37.
Lauren Guyer was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points for Maclay. Journey Kramer was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
North Florida Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Maclay, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Florida Christian will square off against Rocky Bayou Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocky Bayou Christian will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for Maclay, they will head out on the road to square off against Blountstown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Blountstown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Maclay likes a good challenge.
