Jones was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lejeune Devil Pups. One positive for the Trojans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lejeune found their leader in sophomore Madison McQueen, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McQueen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tiara Davis, who posted eight points and 12 boards.

Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Lejeune, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12.

Jones will venture away from home to square off against East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lejeune, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-27 loss against Northside - Pinetown on the 29th.
