Basketball Recap: David Crockett Beats Grainger for Their 16th Straight Win

David Crockett waltzed into their matchup on Monday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They blew past the Grainger Grizzlies, posting an 83-42 win. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 games by 20 points or more this season.

Leading David Crockett to victory were Laney Britton and Brylee Tullock. Britton went 9-for-10 en route to 22 points and four steals, while Tullock dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. Tullock is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 18 or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Aaliyah Story was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

David Crockett was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They posted seven more assists than Grainger's also-impressive total of 11.

Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Brickey, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Megan Stratton, who had 12 points.

David Crockett's record now sits at 32-3. As for Grainger, their record is now 19-15.

David Crockett has already played their next contest, a 55-38 victory against Tennessee on the 5th. Grainger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
