The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Valley Christian Trojans on Tuesday. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy secured a  43-38 W over Ironwood Ridge. For Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the   30-25 loss Ironwood Ridge walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in December of 2022.
 Pusch Ridge Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to  Sedona Dietrich, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 14  rebounds. The  matchup was  Dietrich's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Nicole NJoroge, who  scored 8 points along with 5  steals.
 Ironwood Ridge's lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Jaidyn Saucedo, who  scored 11 points along with 3  steals. Saucedo scored a full 28.9% of Ironwood Ridge's points, the seventh time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Scarlett Barton, who  scored 12 points along with 7  rebounds and 3  steals.
 Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Ironwood Ridge, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Canyon del Oro at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Ironwood Ridge, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Rincon/University at 7:00  p.m. Rincon/University has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
