They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech 59-13 on the road. Franklin pushed the score to 53-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dragons had no chance of recovering from.
Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-22.
Franklin will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southampton is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech, they will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Brunswick will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
