Softball Recap: Dresden's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Dresden can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They blew past the Bradford Red Devils 12-1. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

Haylee Jarred was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season. Allie Spaulding was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Dresden hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive games.

Dresden's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Bradford, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dresden will welcome Gleason at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bradford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
