Maize had already won 17 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Hutchinson Salthawks with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
