The Faith Christian Eagles will square off against the Tri-County Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with ten straight losses, while Tri-County will come in with four straight victories.

Meanwhile, Tri-County made easy work of Clinton Central on Saturday and carried off a 12-5 win. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by seven runs or more this season.
Grace Luck made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last nine contests. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Kami Wilkerson and Bella Dominguez did most of the damage at the plate: Wilkerson went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Dominguez went 2-for-5 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits Wilkerson has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Reese Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Tri-County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .457. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clinton Central only posted a batting average of .222.
Tri-County's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18.
