After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centennial, East was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

East now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Ponitz Career Tech, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East will challenge Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ponitz Career Tech, they will square off against Trotwood-Madison at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.25 runs per game on average), something the Golden Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
