Baseball Recap: Stevens Has No Trouble Against Inter-Lakes

Stevens won the last time they faced Inter-Lakes and things went their way on Friday too. The Cardinals blew past the Lakers 11-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Carson Beeman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Beeman was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Stevens let John Andrews and Logan Minkler run wild. Andrews went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Minkler went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Stevens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Inter-Lakes only managed five.

Stevens' record now sits at 2-0.
