Medicine Lodge typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Cheney proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Cheney easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20.

Trinity Griffin paced Cheney's offense, picking up nine kills. Griffin were helped by Carter Pipkin and Meredith Wewe, who contributed eight assists each. Pipkin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cheney has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Medicine Lodge, they dropped their record down to 29-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Cheney has already played their next contest (against Garden City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Medicine Lodge, they will head out on the road to square off against Kingman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
