The Murray Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 69-25 win over Park City at home. That 44 points margin sets a new team best for Murray this season.
Among those leading the charge was Charlotte Scherbel, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Auclaire, who scored 15 points along with two blocks.
The victory (which was Murray's third in a row) raised their record to 8-6. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27 points. As for Park City, they bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Murray will challenge Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park City, they will head out on the road to take on Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
