They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 112-59 victory over Big Valley Christian. Venture Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Venture Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marcos Rosales, who scored 23 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Mario Williams, who scored 19 points along with six assists and four steals.
When it comes to explaining why Big Valley Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cohen Boone. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Eiler Boone, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Venture Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 94.8 points per game. As for Big Valley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 16-3.

As for Big Valley Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Stone Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m.
