Richmond has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge The Chillicothe Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Richmond is ranked 174th, while Chillicothe is ranked 164th).
Richmond can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Lexington, posting a 58-18 win at home.
Meanwhile, Chillicothe owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They put the hurt on Benton with a sharp 22-0 win. The victory was just what Chillicothe needed coming off of a 49-6 loss in their prior game.
Chillicothe can attribute much of their success to Javon Kille, who rushed for 123 yards, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. Sol'jier Allen made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Their wins bumped Richmond to 5-5 and Chillicothe to 4-5.
Richmond took their victory against Chillicothe when the teams last played back in November of 2020 by a conclusive 62-41. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Chillicothe's Damarcus Kelow, who rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.
