The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Cuello, who put up eight points.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Martinique Brown, who went 7 of 17 on his way to 15 points and three blocks. Gebriel Quimoyog was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.
Doral Academy Red Rock's record is now 3-4. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
