It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-56, which was the final score in Rapid City Central's tilt against Moorcroft on Saturday. The state rankings had actually given Rapid City Central a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The loss dropped Rapid City Central's record to 3-5. The win got Moorcroft back to even at 3-3.
Next week Rapid City Central take on Washington at 8:00 PM. As for Moorcroft, they will face off against Wheatland. Unlike Moorcroft, Wheatland will be limping in after taking a loss.
