The Snohomish Panthers lost against the Monroe Bearcats back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Snohomish had to suffer through a rough 55-7 loss at the hands of Monroe. Snohomish has struggled against Monroe recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Blake Springer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Monroe, throwing for 306 yards and six touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes. Ryan Miller also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.
Snohomish's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Monroe, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Snohomish will square off against Marysville-Pilchuck at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Marysville-Pilchuck presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Snohomish in Washington (Marysville-Pilchuck is ranked 51st, while Snohomish is ranked 214th). As for Monroe, they will head out on the road to face off against Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlington is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
