After a string of three wins, the Fredonia Lynx's's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 45-23 walloping at the hands of Williams. Fredonia has struggled against Williams recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Williams can attribute much of their success to Braydyn Larimore, who scored 19 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Larimore has scored at least 25% of Williams' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Mortensen , who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Fredonia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Williams, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredonia won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ash Fork at 2:00 p.m. on December 16th. Ash Fork is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Williams won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Michael at 3:00 p.m. on December 16th. St. Michael has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
