The Redmond Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with a 76-68 win over Jackson. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Redmond's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Iha Kasam, who scored 31 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The contest was Kasam's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isabel Schneider, who scored 19 points along with three steals.
Redmond now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redmond will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mount Si at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Jackson will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against West Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
