Meanwhile, West Bladen won against Hoggard on Thursday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. West Bladen was the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over Lumberton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Cade Allen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Dunham, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
East Columbus' record is now 2-0. As for West Bladen, their record is now an identical 2-0.
