After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Salisbury, the Parkland Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They managed a 62-56 victory over T.W. Andrews. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brock Jackson, who scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was SaMaurie Moses, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Parkland now has a winning record of 3-2. As for T.W. Andrews, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Parkland will look to defend their home court on Monday against Atkins at 7:30 p.m. Atkins comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for T.W. Andrews, they will head out on the road to face off against Reidsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
