The Jordan Bulldogs will take on the George Washington Prep Generals at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jordan comes in on eight and George Washington Prep on three.
Jordan extended their postseason success on Friday against Bell. They strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 38-21. 38 seems to be a good number for Jordan as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for David Sandy, who rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 63 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Sandy is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last ten games he's played.
Meanwhile, George Washington Prep earned a 16-8 win over South East on Friday.
Jordan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28 points. As for George Washington Prep, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Jordan was dealt a bruising 55-0 defeat at the hands of George Washington Prep when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Can Jordan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
