Softball Recap: Klahowya Extends Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Klahowya had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against Connell as they made off with a 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for Klahowya, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Klahowya got a massive performance out of Shyanne Kilmer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles Kilmer has posted since back in April of 2024. Isabel Langguth was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

The win (which was Klahowya's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Connell, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Klahowya will face off against Cedar Park Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Klahowya will need to watch out since Cedar Park Christian has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. Connell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
