The Southwind Jaguars waltzed into Tuesday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 61-17 win over Bolton. The result was nothing new for Southwind, who have now won three contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Tashawn Hubbard continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with 9 assists and 7 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Southwind's points. Camille Sanders was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Southwind's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bolton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwind will take on Ridgeway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bolton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against KIPP Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. KIPP Collegiate comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
