Cascade Christian extended the longest winning streak in 1A Nisqually - Division 1 this week by beating Eatonville, 47-7. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Port Townsend took down Tacoma Baptist 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jacob King threw for 80 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 141 yards in the win.
Joe Evans was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Cruisers fell to Cascade Christian. The 5-foot-10 senior pulled down 1 interception.
Jackie Wood was the best wideout in the league this week as Randy Davis' team beat Eatonville. Wood tallied 3 receptions for 71 yards. Mason Tobeck helped Cascade Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 36 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Cougars' Jaelin Goldsmith and Tobeck have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Goldsmith has thrown for 978 yards this season, while Tobeck has 17 catches for 313 yards. King from the Redskins leads the league in rushing with 1,226 yards.
