Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeland). They blew past the Antigo Red Robins, posting an 87-14 win. Given the Thunderbirds' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Red Robins are ranked 309th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeland has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Antigo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeland will take on Wausau West in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Antigo and Mosinee will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on December 20th.
