The Burns Hilanders will head out to  challenge the La Pine Hawks  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Burns will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile,  it may have taken  nine innings to finish the job, but La Pine ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Creswell  18-17. Considering the Hawks' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
 Jade Seymour was  incredible,  going 5-for-6 with one  home run, five  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Kylee Parks was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 La Pine was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .553. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
 Burns' record is now 8-2-1. As for La Pine, their  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7.
 Burns took their  win against La Pine  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hilanders since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
