The Thief River Falls Prowlers suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Ada-Borup at home and fell 76-45. Thief River Falls was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.
Caleb Rosendahl and Lucas Rantanen certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Rosendahl scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Rantanen scored five points along with three steals.
Cadyn Dahl was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points for Ada-Borup. Another player making a difference was Cameron Spaeth, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Thief River Falls has fallen quite a ways from their 26-3 record last season and are now at 2-8. As for Ada-Borup, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thief River Falls will challenge Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Ada-Borup, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Park-Audubon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Park-Audubon is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
