It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Cypress Christian Warriors had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed by Geneva on the road to the tune of 55-6. Considering Cypress Christian has won six contests by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Cypress Christian, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.4 points per game. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Cypress Christian will square off against Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on November 25th. Holy Cross has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 338 points over their last six matches. Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
