Lakeview entered their tilt with Thomaston on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 56-52 W over the Thomaston Bears. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 69-29 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lakeview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Patrick Weaving out in front who went 6 of 9 en route to 18 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Guma, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

The win got Lakeview back to even at 4-4. As for Thomaston, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Lakeview will head out to face off against Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Lakeview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Gilbert likes a good challenge. As for Thomaston, they will host Windsor Locks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Windsor Locks is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.3 points per game this season.
