Tri-City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Donavyn Riley, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Gage Shafer, who scored six points.
Tri-City bumped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Routt Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Tri-City will take on St. Thomas More at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Routt Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. Carrollton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 561st, while Routt Catholic is ranked 251st).
