Dunedin has gone a perfect 4-0 against Wesley Chapel recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Dunedin Falcons will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Wesley Chapel Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Dunedin: 2.2, Wesley Chapel: 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Dunedin is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 6-1 win over Clearwater Central Catholic on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now won five in a row.

Dunedin got a great performance from Cian Roche as he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those ten strikeouts gave Roche a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Dunedin's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Madden James, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. James also put up an RBI, which washis first of the season.
Meanwhile, Wesley Chapel had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. That six run margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.
Chase Flemming looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Pabon, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Wesley Chapel's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 runs over those games. As for Dunedin, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Dunedin came out on top in a nail-biter against Wesley Chapel in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Does Dunedin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wesley Chapel turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
