Franklin and Cleveland are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2023, but likely not for long. The Lightning will welcome the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin has given up an average of 15.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Jillian Lee made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off 11 hits (and not a single walk). Those 16 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Leighton Hopp, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Estelle Ranta, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Cleveland has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
