Despite the loss, Foard still got an impressive performance from Nicholas Jeffries, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Jeffries grabbed two or more steals. Graham Orndoff was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
North Lincoln's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kellen Karr, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Karr hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Sanders, who scored 16 points along with five assists and two steals.
Foard has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for North Lincoln, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.
Foard will be playing at home against Hickory at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hickory will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for North Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against West Iredell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for West Iredell: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while North Lincoln has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
