Lakota lost against Elmwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders fell 7-4 to the Royals. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lakota saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Scherger, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Grant Bomer was another, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Lakota's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Elmwood, they moved to 15-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Elmwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Findlay on the 14th. Hopefully Lakota paid attention to the Royals' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Royals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
