St. Mary's Prep extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 22-12 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Seaholm Maples an 11-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Eaglets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Seaholm, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.22 runs allowed.

For Seaholm's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Hughes, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Prep will head out to square off against Hartland at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Seaholm, they will venture away from home to take on Seaholm/Groves at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
