On Friday, Edison suffered a tough 72-47 loss at the hands of Granada.
Despite the loss, Edison had strong showings from Damarcus Cobb Jr, who scored 21 points along with 3 steals, and Amari Patterson, who scored 8 points. Cobb Jr scored a full 44.7% of Edison's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Tytus Billingsly was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Granada, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Edison has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Sacramento at 5:30 p.m. on December 9th. Sacramento has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three contests. Granada's road trip will continue as they head out to face Benicia at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th.
