Danville (Pa.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 24-7 victory over
Jersey Shore (Pa.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Weston Baylor touchdown run in the first quarter, the Ironmen led 17-0 at the half.
Jersey Shore's only touchdown came on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Danville had given up an average of 9.4 points prior to the contest. Jersey Shore's seven points were well below their season average of 19.8 per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 42-14 win for DHS.
