Dupo and Madison are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2016, but not for long. The Dupo Tigers will challenge the Madison Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dupo, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Dupo took their contest with ease, bagging a 52-20 victory over Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience. The Tigers pushed the score to 33-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Owls had little chance of recovering from.

Dupo got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaitlynn Townsend out in front who went 6 of 12 to rack up 15 points and five rebounds. What's more, Townsend also posted a 50% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaylyn Woods, who posted four points in addition to six boards, six steals, and five assists.

Dupo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Madison took a blow against Granite City on Wednesday, falling 66-7. The Trojans have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Dupo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything came up roses for Dupo against Madison when the teams last played back in November of 2022, as the squad secured a 53-20 victory. Does Dupo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Madison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
