McLoud is 8-2 against Chandler since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The McLoud Redskins will head out on the road to square off against the Chandler Lions at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in McLoud's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matches.
McLoud can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Seminole 74-40 at home. Given McLoud's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Seminole is ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Chandler waltzed into their match on Friday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They put the hurt on Holdenville with a sharp 61-37 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Chandler had established a 20 point advantage.
McLoud's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Chandler, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
Everything came up roses for McLoud against Chandler in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 65-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for McLoud since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
